Gov. Mike Beebe announced the following education board appointment:

Mary Anne Salmon, North Little Rock, to the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Council. Appointment expires May 1, 2015. Replaces Bob Burns.

Beebe also announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:

Liz Adams, Maumelle, reappointed to the Arkansas Independent Living Council. Appointment expires February 1, 2016.

Andy Altom, Little Rock, reappointed to the Child Welfare Agency Review Board. Appointment expires March 1, 2017.

James “Richard” Bailey, Harrison, to the Auctioneers Licensing Board. Appointment expires April 15, 2017. Replaces James Shaddox.

Joy Blankenship, Pine Bluff, reappointed to the Arkansas Motor Vehicle Commission. Appointment expires January 14, 2020.

Josh Blevins, Little Rock, reappointed to the State Board of Private Career Education. Appointment expires April 15, 2020.

Dr. Charles Bower, Little Rock, reappointed to the Universal Newborn Hearing, Screening, Tracking and Intervention Advisory Board. Appointment expires January 14, 2016.

Rick Bransford, Lonoke, reappointed to the State Plant Board. Appointment expires March 17, 2015.

Kari Coffman, Barling, to the Arkansas HIV/AIDS Minority Taskforce. Appointment expires February 1, 2014. Replaces Sylvana Niciteretse.
