With less than 90 days left until the opening kickoff of the 2014 football season at Auburn on Aug. 30, the Arkansas Department of Athletics is announcing new monthly payment plans for new season ticket purchases.

"Our fans are instrumental in giving our team a home field advantage and their support is the lifeblood of our program," Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Jeff Long said in a statement. "We are grateful to all of our current season ticket holders and realize that other prospective season ticket holders may benefit from an opportunity to purchase tickets utilizing a monthly payment plan."

Fans wanting to buy season tickets for the upcoming season have two options allowing them to split the cost of season tickets into two or three monthly installments, making the purchase more affordable for Razorback fans. Season tickets start at $300 per seat.

To take advantage of the flexible payment plans, the season tickets must be purchased using a credit card and the order must be placed by calling the Razorback Ticket Center at 1-800-982-HOGS (4647) or 479-575-5151. The card used at sign-up will be automatically charged for each payment.

"Our goal is to bring the experience of Razorback Football to even more fans around the state while providing convenient payment options for their investment in the lives of our more than 460 student-athletes competing at the University of Arkansas," Long continued.

The Arkansas football team returns seven starters on offense and six on defense for Head Coach Bret Bielema's second season in Fayetteville. Keying the Razorbacks offense will be junior quarterback Brandon Allen and a powerful running game that includes a pair of 900-yard plus rushers in junior Jonathan Williams and sophomore Alex Collins. At the center of the Razorbacks' defense will be senior defensive end and all-America candidate Trey Flowers who posted 13.5 tackles for loss and five sacks last year.

The Hogs six home games in Fayetteville include non-conference opponents Nicholls State (Sept. 6), Northern Illinois (Sept. 20) and UAB (Oct. 25) and SEC matchups vs. Alabama (Oct. 11), LSU (Nov. 15) and Ole Miss (Nov. 22). The Razorbacks other home game will be played in Little Rock vs. Georgia on Oct. 18.
