Cook: My Interview With Actress Patricia Heaton
Last week, I traveled to LA to attend the world premiere of the movie “Mom”s Night Out” at the iconic Chinese Theater. This was my first Hollywood movie premiere and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience.
So far 2014 is my year of firsts as back in January I attended my first Hollywood awards show since I”m a film critic for FOX16.
“Mom”s Night Out” is a fun, family-friendly film that covers the hijinks that ensue when a group of moms one evening take a much needed break. The film stars Sarah Drew, of “Grey”s Anatomy” fame, Sean Astin, Patricia Heaton and Trace Adkins. The movie opened this past Friday, just in time for Mother”s Day.
The premiere had all the trappings of a Hollywood opening, red carpet, massive amount of press, various actors and movie stars walking by and an after party. I interviewed a few stars on the red carpet that evening.
One highlight from the red carpet. I apparently made a mistake, in some folks” opinion, by choosing to interview Corbin Bernsen instead of Jordin Sparks that evening. I had no idea who the latter was, but as a child of the 80″s and a fan of LA Law, I stand by my decision.
The day after the premiere film casino pa natet critics and reporters interviewed the film”s stars at the Hotel Roosevelt, which is right on Hollywood Boulevard across the street from the Chinese Theater. I sat down with all of the film”s actors to discuss the movie and all were very friendly and engaging.
In addition to starring in the movie, Patricia Heaton served as the executive producer of this film. You probably know Heaton for her Emmy-award winning work on “Everybody Loves Raymond”. FOX16 took a portion of my interview with Heaton and we showed it on last Friday”s Good Day Arkansas.
Please watch my interview with Patricia Heaton. In the interview she reveals a family connection to Arkansas.
