The Life and Times of Mary O’Toole Parker

On April 19th at 10:00 am and 12:00 pm, Fort Smith National Historic Site Volunteer Sue Robison will give a presentation on the life Mary Parker. Mary was the wife of Judge Isaac Parker. Not content to simply be the wife of the famous judge, she was very active in the local Fort Smith community helping to build libraries and start the early phases of what is now Sparks hospital. She was a model citizen and a very important part of Fort Smith in the late 19th century.
