Do you enjoy the thunder and smoke of Civil War cannon? Many people do but there is much more to cannons than just the booming sound. On May 3rd and 24th at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Fort Smith National Historic Site will present a program about the realities faced by soldiers in battle during the Civil War and fire a reproduction.
Fort Smith National Historic Site is located in downtown Fort Smith.
To access the free parking lot from Garrison Avenue, turn south on 4th Street and west on Garland Avenue.
