Digital marketing agency Rockfish Interactive of Rogers recently launched its corporate giving program, and Bella Vista Animal Shelter is one of the recipients.

In what the company intends to become an annual venture, it will provide its services for free to several chosen established nonprofit organizations.

The other 2014 recipient is Josh Cares Child Life Specialists of Cincinnati, an organization that provides companionship and comfort to children hospitalized in critical and chronic care units in Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, according to a press release from Rockfish.

Rockfish has committed to providing up to $50,000 in agency time on projects for the two organizations.

It will re-launch the Bella Vista Animal Shelter’s website. The redesigned web presence will help the animal shelter grow its audience of supporters and potential adopters via digital channels, helping to fulfill its mission of “providing love and care for homeless animals that need adoption into good homes,” according to the press release.

“Giving back to our communities comes naturally for Rockfish employees,” CEO and founder Kenny Tomlin said in the press release. “Our employees are involved with a wide range of nonprofits and social causes, and we are proud to extend that work in a more official capacity in 2014 with Josh Cares and Bella Vista Animal Shelter.”

To be eligible, organizations must be headquartered within 50 miles of one of the cities in which Rockfish operates. Rockfish now has offices in Dallas, Cincinnati, Portland, Ore., New York, Chicago and Austin, Texas.

The organizations must also demonstrate financial need and an insufficiency in its digital services that hinders their philanthropic cause.

Applications for the 2015 program will be available in the fall through the Rockfish website, RockfishDigital.com.
