Assembled Products Corp. Celebrates 30 Years
Since its inception in 1983, Assembled Products Corp. of Rogers — whose motto is “Products that Make Life Better” — has grown from selling a single product to manufacturing a number of different items out of several branches.
Inspired by his elderly grandmother, entrepreneur William Sage started the company in his garage, building a prototype for the Mart Cart, an electronic shopping cart for the mobility impaired.
Thirty years later, the company still manufactures mobility products like the Mart Cart, which is used at a number of Fortune 500 retail stores, according to a news release from Assembled Products.
However, in recent years, it has taken on 139 employees and added to its production inventory brands like Jotto Desk, solutions for public safety vehicles; NRA Jotto Gear, personal security solutions; Spray Master Technologies, high-pressure cleaning equipment; and Hub Motors, OEM auto parts.
The company hosted an anniversary celebration Dec. 20, in recognition of its 30 years in business.
“Opportunities have arisen in unique market niches throughout the years,” said Erin Kiefer, director of special projects. “Each new product was opportune for its time, and each has contributed to our success. That, along with the faith of our leadership and our outstanding employees, is why we are still here today, and why we will continue to be successful in the future.”
