Park Ranger Faber Addresses Historical Society

Cody Faber, Park Ranger and VIP Coordinator at the Fort Smith National Historic Site,  will address the February 17, 2014 meeting of the South Sebastian County Historical Society.  Faber will discuss Daniel Boone and the role of hunting and trapping in the nation’s westward expansion,  its financial importance in Arkansas during the late 18th and early 19th centuries and the unique character and nature of Arkansas’s early settlers. 

The Historical Society meeting will convene at 7 PM, Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Farmer’s Bank Community Room, 7 West Center Street in Greenwood. All are welcome to attend.  For more information, call 996-6357.
