Inside The Numbers: A Look At 12 Arkansas City Economies

Through our partnership with the University of Central Arkansas’ Center for Community & Economic Development, Talk Business offers its “Inside the Numbers” analysis of economic data in 12 of the state’s larger communities.

This report focuses on the cities of Bentonville, Conway, Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Hot Springs, Jonesboro, Little Rock, North Little Rock, Pine Bluff, Rogers, and Texarkana.

The data covers unemployment, home sales, residential and commercial construction permits, sales tax revenues, and bankruptcies for six-month periods ranging from January-July 2013 versus the comparable periods in 2012.
