Beebe appoints 19 to boards and commissions

Gov. Mike Beebe announced Thursday (Nov. 7) the following appointments to boards and commissions:
 
John Adams, Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Workforce Investment Board. Appointment expires Aug. 10, 2017.

Sergeant James Benefiel, Harrison, to the Arkansas State Board of Massage Therapy. Appointment expires Aug. 20, 2016. Replaces Gregg Benefiel.

Russell Black, Prairie Grove, reappointed to the State Plant Board. Appointment expires Sept. 30, 2015.

Kenneth Bridges, Ph.D., El Dorado, reappointed to the State Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board. Appointment expires July 31, 2016.

Adam Davis, Bryant, to the Electronic Recording Commission. Appointment expires Sept. 1, 2015. Replaces Larry Crane.

Susan Hanrahan, Ph.D., Jonesboro, reappointed to the Arkansas Tobacco Settlement Commission. Appointment expires Oct. 1, 2017.

Gloria Higginbotham, Marvell, reappointed to the Delta Cultural Center Policy Advisory Board. Appointment expires Oct. 1, 2016.

Karen Holcomb, Pine Bluff, reappointed to the Arkansas State Board of Nursing. Appointment expires Oct. 1, 2017.

Charles "Randy" Humphrey, Fouke, reappointed to the Garland Levee District of Miller County. Appointment expires Oct. 1, 2019.

Terry Imus, North Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas State Board of Nursing. Appointment expires Oct. 1, 2017.

Deborah Knox, Mountain Home, to the State Library Board. Appointment expires Oct. 18, 2020. Replaces Linda Bennett.

Christina Littlejohn, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Entertainers Hall of Fame Board. Appointment expires Sept. 1, 2019. Replaces Steve Stephens.

Charles Logan, Fort Smith, reappointed to the Technology Equipment Revolving Loan Fund Committee. Appointment expires June 30, 2016.

Julius Odom, Bald Knob, to the State Board of Barber Examiners. Appointment expires June 30, 2014. Replaces Henry Blackwell.

James "Monroe" Scroggins, Fouke, reappointed to the Garland Levee District of Miller County. Appointment expires Oct. 1, 2019.

Patricia Staggs, Searcy, to the Arkansas State Board of Nursing. Appointment expires Oct. 1, 2017. Replaces Peggy Baggenstoss.

Donnie Taylor, Trumann, to the Poinsett County Quorum Court, District 7. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2014. Replaces Brent Henderson.

Chancellor Chris Thomason, Hope, reappointed to the Arkansas Workforce Investment Board. Appointment expires Aug. 10, 2017.

Sergeant Brant Tosh, Jonesboro, reappointed to the Board of Trustees of the State Police Retirement System. Appointment expires July 1, 2020.
