“Living Forest” for Families at Hobbs State Park – A Learning Experience from the Animals Themselves

     Hobbs State Park – Conservation Area presents “Living Forest” at the Park’s visitor center, October 25th, 26th, and 27th.  Join Mother Nature as she introduces her many forest friends, (costumed humans).  Listen to each animal’s story and learn what you can do to make their lives easier.  The educational messages will be uncomplicated and easy for young children to understand.
     Join in this fun, non-scary, holiday treat for the whole family.  Strollers and wagons are welcome as you meander along a wide, paved, barrier-free path.  If you want to be like Mother Nature’s animal friends, come in costume.  Healthy refreshments included.

Where:  Hobbs State Park visitor center on Highway 12 just east of the Hwy 12/War
               Eagle Road intersection

When:  October 25th and 26th, 2013 from 6-9 p.m.
              October 27th, 2013  from 1-4 p.m.
