Beebe appoints 23 to state boards and commissions

Gov. Mike Beebe has announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:
 
Dr. Mary Aitken, Maumelle, reappointed to the Governor's Trauma Advisory Council. Appointment expires July 1, 2015.

Dr. Tariq Ali, Little Rock, to the Early Intervention Interagency Coordinating Council. Appointee serves at the will of the governor. Replaces Millie Sandford.

Dr. Katherine Baltz, Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Board of Dispensing Opticians. Appointment expires June 30, 2015.

Rod Barrett, Bentonville, reappointed to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council. Appointment expires July 1, 2016.

Dr. Janet Curry, Pine Bluff, reappointed to the Governor's Trauma Advisory Council. Appointment expires July 1, 2015.

Michael Flagg, Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Milk Stabilization Board. Appointment expires Sept. 12, 2018.

Fitz Hill, Ph.D., Little Rock, to the Vision 2025 Legislative Commission on the Future of Higher Education. Appointment expires January 1, 2017. This is a new position.

Charles Johnson, Little Rock, reappointed to the Perfusionists Advisory Board. Appointment expires July 14, 2016.

Nikki Lawson, Cammack Village, reappointed to the Old State House Commission. Appointment expires March 19, 2022.

Dr. Cynthia Miller, Jonesboro, to the Board of Visitors for the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts. Appointment expires January 14, 2020. Replaces Dr. Wanda Dardenne.

Lensa Odima-Warden, El Dorado, to the State Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board. Appointment expires July 31, 2016. Replaces Karen Hollenbeck.

Martha Pineda, Brinkley, reappointed to the Arkansas State Board of Massage Therapy. Appointment expires Aug. 20, 2016.

Amy Rossi, Little Rock, to the Health Information Exchange Council. Appointee serves at the will of the governor. Replaces Dr. John Henderson.

Rachel Veregge, Little Rock, to the Early Intervention Interagency Coordinating Council. Appointee serves at the will of the governor. Replaces Tami Harlan.
