Beck, Cancer Treatment Physician, Published in Medical Journal

J. Thaddeus Beck, a physician at cancer treatment and research facility Highlands Oncology Group, has co-authored and co-administered a medical trial to be published in the monthly medical journal Current Medical Research and Opinion.

The analysis is on a new treatment option for explicit cases of breast cancer and examines a trial of the treatment.

Beck also acted as local investigator of the treatment and collected data for the trial.

As one of the most common and deadly cancers among women, Beck said breast cancer research is important to the futures of countless people.

“This paper demonstrates that newer, targeted therapy can produce better results while preserving a patient’s quality of life,” Beck said. “Highlands is delighted to have been able to bring this opportunity for our patients to Northwest Arkansas and grateful to the patients that participated in the program.”
