Conway-based Inuvo, Inc., an Internet marketing and technology company, posted second quarter net income of $381,000 in the second quarter, compared to a $3 million loss one year ago.

Revenues topped $13.13 million during the quarter compared to $12.87 million one year ago.

“We are delighted to report a GAAP net income for the second quarter, the direct result of higher revenues and lower operating expenses,” said Richard Howe, Chairman and CEO of Inuvo. “With revenue through the first half of the year up 34% over last year and compensation and SG&A [sales, general and administrative] expenses in 2013 down $0.5 million in June from January, our company’s relocation and product strategies appear to be gaining traction.”

Inuvo relocated to Conway from New York in January. It develops consumer applications for the Internet and delivers targeted advertisements onto websites owned by partners and the company.
