The building that housed Burger Life restaurant on Joyce Boulevard near Malco Razorback Cinema in Fayetteville will soon have a new tenant, Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe.

But did you know how much the new owner, Keet NWA Holdings LLC of Little Rock, paid for the 3,770-SF building?

The answer is $1.62 million.

The seller was MPG Properties I LLC of Little Rock, led by Little Rock developer Leonard Boen.

Burger Life, you might remember, closed May 19 after nearly three years when Dave Godwin, who operated the business as the managing partner of Springdale-based Restaurant Management Group, could not successfully negotiate a new lease agreement with Boen.

Now you know why. Jim Keet, a restaurant industry veteran and Arkansas’ GOP gubernatorial nominee in 2010, heads the Birmingham, Ala.-based Taziki’s chain, which also plans to bring locations to the Pinnacle Hills area of Rogers and the new The Shoppes at Fountain Plaza retail development in Bentonville.
