The Arkansas baseball team set a school record for average paid attendance during the 2013 regular season as an average of 8,335 fans saw the Razorbacks play during the team’s 30 home dates at Baum Stadium.

Arkansas’ average paid attendance of 8,335 fans eclipsed the previous record of 8,047 set during the 2007 season.

The Razorbacks currently rank second nationally in average paid attendance and total paid attendance (250,055). During the course of the 2013 season, Arkansas boasted 7,000 fans or more in 25 of 30 dates and exceeded more than 8,000 fans on 14 occasions, including a season high crowd of 11,145 against Texas A&M on April 20.

Razorback fans could potentially have the chance to fill Baum Stadium during an NCAA regional or super regional if the Razorbacks are selected as a host site. The deadline for season ticket holders to reserve their postseason tickets is this Friday, May 17.
