Gov. Beebe announces appointments to boards and commissions

Gov. Mike Beebe on Wednesday (Feb. 6) announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:

William Cains, Sr., Altus, to the Arkansas Geological Commission. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2020. Replaces Keith DuPriest.

Alex Finger, Little Rock, to the Crime Victims Reparations Board. Appointment expires Oct. 5, 2013. Replaces Redious Yancy.

Terry Fuller, Poplar Grove, reappointed to the Arkansas Seed Arbitration Committee. Appointment expires March 1, 2017.

Joyce Gibson, Prescott, reappointed to the Black History Commission. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2020.

Sloan Hampton, Stuttgart, reappointed to the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2020.

Brown Hardman, Arkadelphia, to the Henderson State University Board of Trustees. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2020. Replaces Johnny Hudson.

Sheriff Charles "Doc" Holladay, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2014. Replaces Danny Russell.

Michael Loos, Ph.D., Fayetteville, to the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling. Appointment expires Dec. 1, 2015. Replaces Dr. John Carmack.

Jim Luker, Wynne, as the Health Services Permit Director. Appointee serves at the will of the governor. Replaces Deborah Frazier.

Herman "Billy" Maddox III, Jonesboro, to the Arkansas Seed Arbitration Committee. Appointment expires March 1, 2017. Replaces Jim Craig.

Monica Pratt, Pocahontas, to the Governor's Developmental Disabilities Council. Appointment expires June 30, 2017. Replaces Frederick Reinheardt.

Kevin Reeder, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Psychology Board. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2017. Replaces Dr. Jeramie Harbin.

Bill Reid, Conway, to the Arkansas Manufactured Home Commission. Appointment expires Sept. 1, 2017. Replaces Greg Sanson.

Artha Sasser, Lewisville, as Lafayette County Constable, Steele Township. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2014. Replaces Henry Fletcher.
