Bentonville – Bella Vista Chamber selects new CEO

The Bentonville/Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce selected Dana Davis as its CEO and president.

Davis was formerly the president and CEO of the Southlake Texas Chamber of Commerce, a position he held for three years. Prior to that he served as president and CEO of the Lawton, Okla., Chamber of Commerce for six years.

He will assume his new duties March 4.

“We are very excited to have Dana aboard. He brings a wealth of chamber experience and talents to our team and region. He will work closely with our partners and members as we focus on our core competencies of creating a strong sustainable local economy through promoting the community, providing networking opportunities, representing the interests of business with government, and promoting sustainable business practices in our unique area,” said Bill Senn, board chairman for Bentonville/Bella Vista Chamber,

The recruiting process was a multi-month project that included the engagement of many of the chamber’s board led by outgoing board chairman, Chad Evans, of Arvest Bank. 

“The board of directors took the necessary time to do very thorough searches. I am proud of the entire member base which was very patient while we worked diligently to find the right person to take the BBV Chamber to the next level – Dana Davis will bring the skills necessary to do that,” Evans said.

In addition chamber service Davis also served in the role of deputy director of the West Virginia Economic Development Office and also as the chief deputy Attorney General in the State of West Virginia.
