Canned food campout returns for 10th year

A 10-year old tradition returns for another year this week.
The Tim & Jeff Canned Food Campout starts Thursday (Nov. 15) and runs through 5 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 17).
The popular radio personalities from Power 105.7 will be camping out in a Mayflower semi truck that they will be filling with canned food and other non-perishable items to benefit LifeSource in Fayetteville. They will be located in front of the Walmart on Mall Avenue in Fayetteville. The organization specifically needs items such as canned meat, beans, rice, cereals, pastas and canned fruit and vegetables.
According to LifeSource’s website, the organization is a non-profit organization that uses a “holistic” approach to helping individuals and families in need through various programs and services.
