The Tokyo String Quartet has captivated audiences and critics alike since it was founded 42 years ago, garnering a devoted following across the globe. This amazing group – Martin Beaver and Kikuei Ikeda (violins), Kazuhide Isomura (viola) and Clive Greensmith (cello) – is regarded as one of the supreme chamber ensembles ever to be assembled. After decades of performing around the world and earning multiple Best Chamber Music Recording of the Year awards, a Grand Prix du Disque Award, and seven Grammy® nominations, the Ensemble has recently announced that this will be their final tour.
