October 2-3, 2012, 9 am – 4 pm. Janet Huckabee River Valley Nature Center, 8300 Wells Lake Road, Fort Smith, AR 72916.
Exploring composition, color, and nature, the instructor and students will paint from appointed locations at the Nature Center grounds. Each day the instructor will talk about and demonstrate his approach to painting plein air, as well as aid students on an individual basis. Individual critiques will be offered at the end of the workshop. Fee: $150; $135 for RAM members. Last day to register: September 20, 2012.
