Arvest Springdale promotes two private bankers

Arvest Bank announced Christie Turner and Kristy Carney were each recently named private banking officers for the Springdale market.

Carney was promoted from consumer loan officer in Springdale into the private banking area.

“I am delighted that Kristy has joined the private banking team. She brings a new level of expertise to our team in both lending and deposit services,” said Robyn Breshers, private bank manager. “Kristy’s hard work ethic and desire to excel are truly great qualities. We look forward to the high level of customer service she will offer our clients.”

Carney began her career with Arvest as a teller in January 2000. She later served as a commercial loan assistant before being named assistant vice president and consumer loan officer in April of 2006. 

Carney graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2006 with a BS in finance and banking. She lives in Northwest Arkansas with her husband, Sean, and is involved with the Springdale Chamber Ambassadors and Partners in Education. Carney also serves as a committee chair for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

Turner recently returned to Northwest Arkansas from Bryant where she worked as branch sales manager for U.S. Bank for the past two years. She started her career at Metropolitan National Bank in Northwest Arkansas. She later transferred to their Bryant branch, and was with Metropolitan National Bank from 2005 to 2010.

Turner graduated cum laude from Arkansas Tech University with a BSBA in economics and finance. She lives in Northwest Arkansas with her husband, Finley, and their two children. She is actively involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity and Junior Achievement. 

“Christie will be a huge asset to our team. She brings much experience from various lines of business within the banking field and will uplift the level of customer service for our clients,” Breshers said. “Our private banking clients are going to enjoy the level of customer service she brings to the team.”
