Appointments made to Arkansas boards and commissions

Gov. Mike Beebe on Wednesday (Aug. 1) announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:
 
Rosemary Alcon, Ozark, to the Arkansas Board of Health Education. Appointment expires July 31, 2015. Replaces Dana Smith.

Lawrence Berkley, Little Rock, reappointed to the Medical Ionizing Radiation Licensure Committee. Appointment expires July 1, 2015.

Dr. Christopher Blackmon, Roland, to the Medical Ionizing Radiation Licensure Committee. Appointment expires July 1, 2015. Replaces Dr. William Traylor.

Rance Bryant, Conway, to the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness. Appointee serves at the will of the governor.

Jim Carroll III, Brinkley, reappointed to the Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2014.

Terry Dabbs, Stuttgart, reappointed to the Arkansas Wheat Promotion Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2014.

Paul Dottley, Sr., Monticello, to the Arkansas Alcohol and Drug Abuse Coordinating Council. Appointment expires July 1, 2013. Replaces Jim Allen.

Charles Ellis, El Dorado, reappointed to the Arkansas Child Abuse, Rape and Domestic Violence Commission. Appointment expires July 1, 2014.

Amanda Harvey, Mountain Home, reappointed to the Arkansas Board of Health Education. Appointment expires July 31, 2015.

Terry Henson, Benton, reappointed to the Arkansas Local Police and Fire Retirement System Board of Trustees. Appointment expires Jan. 1, 2016.

Kandi Keith, Hamburg, to the Arkansas Arts Council. Appointment expires June 30, 2016. Replaces Debbie Shea.

Everett "Grant" Marshall, Magnolia, reappointed to the Technology Equipment Revolving Loan Fund Committee. Appointment expires June 30, 2015.

Sabra Miller, Pine Bluff, to the Arkansas Board of Health Education. Appointment expires July 31, 2015. Replaces Karen Pugh-Bartosh.

Robert Parker, Sheridan, reappointed to the Arkansas Child Abuse, Rape and Domestic Violence Commission. Appointment expires July 1, 2014.

Michael Richardson, Holly Grove, reappointed to the Arkansas Corn and Grain Sorghum Promotion Board. Appointment expires July 1, 2014.
