Sharp principal gets “master” designation

Tanya Sharp, principal at Elm Tree Elementary School in Bentonville, achieved the Master Principal Designation recently from the Arkansas Leadership Academy.
The purpose of the Master Principal Program is to provide training programs and opportunities to expand the knowledge base and leadership skills of public school principals.
The three-phase program is a voluntary, taking approximately three years to complete. Both the Arkansas Department of Education and the Arkansas Leadership Academy determine the criteria for the selection of candidates.
