Arvest Bank promotes lending officers

Arvest Bank recently announced two internal promotions among its lending teams in Washington County.

Greg Martin, previously a vice president and commercial banker for Arvest Bank, has been promoted to senior vice president and area loan manager for Arvest Bank in Fayetteville. He works out of the 2761 E. Mission Boulevard location.

Martin has worked for Arvest Bank in Fayetteville for 10 years. His first position was as a banker trainee before he was promoted to commercial financial service representative and commercial loan officer. He is a graduate from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and Fayetteville High School.

Bryn Bagwell, previously a commercial loan officer for Arvest Bank in Benton County, was also recently promoted to area loan manager for Arvest Bank in Fayetteville. She will work out of the 1627 E. Joyce Boulevard location.

Donny Story, president and chief executive officer for Arvest Bank in Fayetteville, said both of these bankers have extensive experience and a wealth of community knowledge which are assets to both the bank and its customers.

Bagwell has 25 years of commercial lending experience with various banks. Before she was hired at Arvest Bank in Benton County last year, she most recently worked for Farmers Bank & Trust with four years in the Fayetteville office and three years in the Magnolia/Camden office.

She holds a MBA from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a bachelor's degree from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn. Bagwell is a graduate of the Mid-South School of Banking and the National Commercial Lending School at the University of Oklahoma. She is a graduate of Little Rock’s Hall High School.
