Arvest Bank announced that Ronnie McGhee, owner of Greenlawn Farms in Decatur, has been named as a member of the Arvest Bank in Gravette’s board of directors.

“We are blessed in this community to have dynamic people who are willing to help guide our bank. Ronnie is a third generation farmer who brings community interest and business acumen to his role on the board,” said Jim Singleton, community bank president for Arvest Bank in Gravette.

McGhee owns and operates Greenlawn Farm in Decatur, the third generation of his family to do so. He is also a long-time Benton County Conservation District board member and currently serves as the chairman of the district.

He is a 1971 graduate of the University of Arkansas. McGhee previously served on the Decatur City Council for 10 years.

In 1994 the family was named the Arkansas State Farm Family of the Year and McGhee was awarded the Arkansas Cattlemen’s Association Livestock Commercial Producer of the Year.

McGhee and his wife, Paula McGhee, have two sons, Matt and Adam, and two grandchildren.
