Governor Appoints 19 To Boards And Commissions
Gov. Mike Beebe (D) announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:
Joseph Beck, M.D., Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas State Medical Board. Appointment expires December 31, 2016.
William Dudding, M.D., Fort Smith, reappointed to the Arkansas State Medical Board. Appointment expires December 31, 2017.
Glen Glover, El Dorado, to the State Rehabilitation Council. Appointment expires February 1, 2014. Replaces Travis Beebe.
Lex Golden, Little Rock, to the Public Health Advisory Board. Appointment expires November 1, 2017. Replaces Joe Dan Yee.
Dr. David Horton, Conway, to the State Rehabilitation Council. Appointment expires February 1, 2014. Replaces John Satterfield.
Scott Jones, Little Rock, to the Technology Equipment Revolving Loan Fund Committee. Appointment expires June 30, 2013. Replaces Betsy Barnes.
Jimmie Don McKissack, White Hall, reappointed to the Arkansas Racing Commission. Appointment expires January 14, 2017.
Sally McLarty, Newport, reappointed to the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission. Appointment expires January 14, 2021.
Benny Magness, Gassville, reappointed to the Board of Corrections. Appointment expires December 31, 2018.
Sandra Prater, Jacksonville, to the Arkansas Dietetics Licensing Board. Appointment expires January 15, 2013. Replaces Ann Phillips.
Patricia Stewmon, Cotton Plant, as Woodruff County Justice of the Peace for District 4. Appointment expires December 31, 2012. Replaces Carl Dean Stewmon.
To the Arkansas Division of Volunteerism Advisory Council:
Denver Day, Little Rock. Reappointment.
Faye Shepherd, Conway. Replaces Mollie Morgan.
Virginia Williamson, Magnolia. Replaces Harriet Hawkins.
Ashley Wright, Maumelle. Replaces Julian Holloway.
