Republican Party of Arkansas Hires Lambert For 2012 Political Charge
The Republican Party of Arkansas announced that Michael Lambert of Conway will serve as its new Victory Director for the 2012 election cycle.
Talk Business’ Jason Tolbert reported on the developments last week.
The Victory Director is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day operations of the state party’s 2012 Victory Program, and will also oversee statewide grassroots efforts, Victory field staff, communications and fundraising.
“Michael brings a wealth of campaign experience and political talent to the table,” said Republican Party of Arkansas Chairman Doyle Webb. “He was instrumental in the victories of last year’s historic election and will be a tremendous asset as we work to make Barack Obama a one-term President, send four United States Congressmen to Washington, take the majority in the state Legislature and elect Republican local officials all across this state.”
Lambert has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Speech Communication from the University of Central Arkansas and is currently seeking his Masters of Political Management from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
In 2010, Lambert worked as the Arkansas Victory 72-Hour Strategic Director where he led the execution of the Republican National Committee’s Get Out The Vote plan. He also served on the 2008 Arkansas Victory team as a field director, and has worked on various campaigns including Asa Hutchinson for Governor and George W. Bush’s 2004 presidential campaign. Most recently, Lambert was Campaign Manager for the Marcus Richmond for Congress campaign.
