Boozman Thinks Health Care Changes Will Be Incremental
Late last week, Sen. John Boozman told state municipal leaders that changes to the controversial federal health care law would not involve an all-out repeal.
Lewis Delavan with our content partner, the Arkansas News Bureau, reports:
Incremental changes to the federal health care may be the most likely method of rolling it back since an outright repeal is unlikely with Democrats still controlling the Senate, U.S. Sen. John Boozman, R-Ark., said.
“A House vote (to repeal) will pass. In the Senate, it will die. Even if it passes the Senate, it will be vetoed,” Boozman said during an informal talk to city leaders from around the state attending the Arkansas Municipal League’s winter meeting here.
