Fort Smith Realtor named Arkansas Realtor of the Year
The Arkansas Realtors Association has named Fort Smith Realtor Glee Cosner its Arkansas Realtor-of-the-Year. The announcement was made Tuesday night (Sept. 14) during the association’s 86th Annual Convention in Rogers.
Cosner was selected from a list of 27 Realtors from throughout the state who were nominated by their local Realtor boards.
Cosner is the president-elect for the Fort Smith Board of Realtors, a member of the ARA’s Risk Reduction Committee, its Professional Standards Committee and is an alumni of the association’s leadership academy.
The nominees were judged based on the following guidelines:
• Realtor Spirit and the demonstration of high personal and professional principles and faithfulness to the laws and regulations of the Arkansas Real Estate Commission and the National Association of Realtors.
• Civic Activity and the demonstration of service to civic clubs, charitable activities and various examples of community involvement.
• Business Accomplishment and the demonstration of reputable business conduct, service to clients and the innovative use of technology in day-to-day business.
• Local Board participation and activity in the issues and activities of the Arkansas Realtors Association and the National Association Activity.
“I consider this a tremendous honor and am humbled to be selected to represent the Arkansas Realtors Association as its 2010 Realtor-of-the-Year,” Cosner said in the ARA statement. “In addition to thanking the committee and the association for this special recognition, I would also like to thank my clients and the Fort Smith region. Each are incredibly important to me and are the foundation of my business and my life.”
