The golfer Sean “The Beast” Fister of Little Rock recently filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection and listed debts between $1 million and $10 million.

The winner of three world long-drive championships will file his complete bankruptcy schedules at a later date. But in the preliminary filing, Fister reported assets of between $500,000 and $1 million.

In 2009, Fister told ArkansasSports360.com that he had formed his own company and had gotten business tips from the members of Chenal Country Club.

“I’m going to build the company piece by piece with solid products and with business fundamentals,” he said last year.

Neither Fister nor his bankruptcy attorney, Basil Hicks Jr. of North Little Rock, could be reached for comment.
