Local musicians are coming together June 22 at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith for a concert to benefit a music scholarship fund at the university.

Performers include members of the UA Fort Smith music faculty, music students and local bands, including The Crumbs and Cold Water Dog, as well as Liz Madden, a well-known Irish singer who recently moved to Fort Smith, along with other special guests.

The concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Breedlove Auditorium, with admission at $10. Additional donations will also be accepted.

The concert will feature a very diverse program of many types of music — classical, blues, Irish, bluegrass, jazz, easy listening and more.

Tickets may be reserved ahead of time by calling the Foundation office at 479-788-7020. Tickets will also be available at the door.

All proceeds from ticket sales and donations will go to the UA Fort Smith Foundation Music Scholarship Fund.
