Political Candidates Debate Hosted by Leadership Fort Smith Alumni Association

 The Public is invited to a political candidates debate to be held on Monday, May 10, 2010 at the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith.  This event, sponsored by the Leadership Fort Smith Alumni Association, will be held from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the Reynolds Room of  the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center.   The debates will feature May 18th candidates who will be running for State Senator:  Jim Medley, District 63 Rep., Frank Glidewell, and Jake Files; and for State Representative of District 63:  J.R. Dallas, and Sen. Deny Altes; and District 64 Rep. Stephanie Malone, and Gary Campbell.  Candidates for other local offices are also invited  to attend and distribute literature to promote their campaigns. 

 This forum is being held at a "family friendly" time and popcorn and drinks will be served by the Young Emerging Leaders (YEL) of Fort Smith.  We hope that you can join us for an evening of  lively debates and good, old-fashioned fun.
