The first Pink on the Links was held Friday, June 19, at Hardscrabble Country Club ended with the Partee Pink.

Pink on the Links was a day at the Fort Smith Classic dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer and to support the Ozark Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure as they work to save lives and end breast cancer forever by educating people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures. Partee Pink was held in the indoor tennis facility at Harscrabble Country Club. At 9 p.m., The Bouffants from Memphis took the stage. They provided rock and roll music with four vocalists and five musicians. The group delighted the audience and dancers with their showy costumes, slick choreography and a dance beat that was hard to resist. And then there was that hair!
