T.V Recycling Event to be held in Fort Smith and Fayetteville Dec. 6, 2008.
Bedford Camera & Video and Channel Five KFSM are sponsoring a TV recycling drive titled “The BIG TV Switch” to help properly and safely dispose of obsolete television sets. ECCOpartneres of Fort Smith is providing recycling resources to ensure the sets are recycled, and in some cases re-used, in a proper fashion. The University of Arkansas Fort Smith will be providing volunteers to help in the collection of the sets and ABF is providing the vehicles to transport the units to a recycling center.
What to bring: Any television you wish to recycle or donate.
Obsolete sets will be recycled – working ones will be donated to charitable causes.
The event will be held simultaneously in both the parking lot of Fort Smith’s Central Mall and the parking lot of the Northwest Arkansas Mall.
