Fun Time for EquityNet

We hear Ron Goforth’s EquityNet is doing well, despite the forces of the economy that are causing pain for many others.

EquityNet was founded in 2005 and has a Web site dedicated to providing tools to the private-equity investment marketplace that allow investors and entrepreneurs to improve the efficiency of the investment process. Basically, the site connects those seeking capital with those willing to invest in the right opportunity.

Goforth said the site has served about 300 entrepreneurial companies and has garnered 12 active investors so far. Nine of those investors are in Arkansas, two are in Texas and one is in Arizona, Goforth said.

“It’s a fun time,” he said.
