Brandon Barber’s partner on the Legacy Building, Seth Kaffka, is selling his house. Kaffka is also Barber’s brother-in-law.

The 4,348-SF house on Acadiana Drive in Fayetteville was purchased from Barber Homes Inc. in 2005 for $608,000 and now has a Barber Real Estate sign out front.

The Legacy Building was foreclosed on by Legacy National Bank of Springdale on Jan. 2 for the outstanding balance of $18.1 million on two loans originally totaling $19.4 million for its construction.

Barber, his wife Keri, Kaffka and his wife Laura were all named as liable for the first loan of $16.7 million. Barber was the sole signatory on a second loan for $2.7 million to finance the last phases of the Legacy in April 2007.

Seven of the 37 condos have sold for a total of $2.95 million. Contractor EWI Inc. was recently awarded a $124,604 judgment against Lynnkohn for an unpaid bill at the Legacy.
