Washington Regional Medical Center has announced plans to build a new facility to better serve the growing population of west Springdale.

The company will be constructing a 30,000-SF Springdale Center for Health. The new facility will be located on 2.75 acres owned by Washington Regional in Har-Ber Meadows. It will be designed to serve patients in Tontitown as well as Springdale.

Baldwin Shell Construction Co. has been named the general contractor.

On November 28, Washington Regional closed on a $5.2 million mortgage from Bank of America for the new facility.

The new location will offer a women’s center, a family medical care center, an outpatient-imaging center and other various specialties.
