Resource Design Crafts New Logo
Resource Design of Rogers recently completed another pro bono project for its hometown. The new seal for Rogers Heritage High and the logos for its athletic mascot the “War Eagles” were unveiled on July 19.
RD has donated about 60 hours to the War Eagles project so far and president Ron Hudnall anticipates another 60 will be needed. The company is also designing the football helmets and sports uniforms for Heritage.
On a tight deadline, Resource Design created the War Eagle by modifying the logo of the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles by making it more streamlined, more muscular and closing the beak. Hudnall said the goal was also to make it look more contemporary than the now-rival Rogers High Mounties.
Resource Design has donated hundreds of hours over the years.
RD designed the City’s new seal, the brochure for the Rogers Historic Museum, the logo/identity for the Rogers Historical District and the logo/branding for the Community Kid’s Closet.
RD’s biggest pro bono project by far has been Frisco Fest, which the company has been involved with since 2003. Hudnall has usually assigned one staffer to work exclusively on Frisco Fest for around 100 hours a year.
Resource Design has done top-to-bottom design and branding for businesses like national shoe chain Journeys and Rogers hot spot Eddie Haskel’s. This year it helped Journeys parent company and major client Genesco develop and launch a women’s shoe store called Shi with 20-25 stores across the country, 15 in California.
It is now developing Johnson-Murphy high-end shoe stores for La Guardia and JFK airports in New York City. Hudnall said the company has designed about a dozen stores in Manhattan this year.
