Springdale-based Legacy National Bank has received approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to open a loan production office in Rogers.

On July 10, the bank submitted a request with the OCC to make that location a full-service bank, LNB’s first full-service foray out of Springdale.

The bank has an LPO on Joyce Boulevard in Fayetteville, but heretofore has focused its resources on growing the Springdale market.

Pending approval, the new branch will be at 5415 Pinnacle Point Drive, the old site for the Market at Pinnacle Point, a now-defunct gourmet grocery store.

Legacy’s president and CEO, Don Gibson, said Gary Kleck will serve as the bank’s market executive for Rogers. Kleck was formerly up the road with Parkway Bank.

LNB’s assets have grown from $136 million as of March 31, 2006 to $223.5 million as of March 31, a 64 percent jump.

The 4,000-SF Rogers office should be ready by mid-fall, Gibson said.
