Krystal Burger Coming to Fayetteville

The oldest fast food chain in the South is finally coming to the area.
Krystal, known for its small, square-cut hamburgers with steamed-in onions it sells by the ‘Sackful,’ is planning a location in Fayetteville at the corner of 6th Street and Eastern Avenue.
Krystal, founded in 1932 in Chattanooga, Tenn., is privately held and has more than 420 locations in 11 states. The Fayetteville location will be its first in Arkansas. The company’s Web site indicates a location is also planned for Little Rock.
