Cumulus Changing Longtime Location

Cumulus Broadcasting Inc. is moving from its longtime location in the lobby of the Cosmopolitan Hotel.
Cumulus operates KKEG-FM, 92.1; KAMO-FM, 94.3; KQSM-FM, 98.3; KMCK-FM, 105.7; KFAY-AM, 1030 and KZRA-AM, 1590.
For now, the broadcast studios will move to the sales building at 24 E. Meadow St., across the street. General manager Joe Conway said there is plenty of room at the location to accommodate sales and broadcast operations.
Conway said the move will last no more than a few months and the group is looking at a few locations for a permanent move, one of which could be the building formerly occupied by rival radio conglomerate Clear Channel Communications Inc. on Frontage Road across College Avenue from the Northwest Arkansas Mall.
Clear Channel, which operates KIGL-FM, 93.3; KMXF-FM, 101.9; KKIX-FM, 103.9 and KEZA-FM, 107.9, moved in early April to new offices and studios on the first floor of the Commerce Park II building at Joyce Boulevard and Old Missouri Road.
