Cities Adopt AT&T IPTV
The Rogers City Council on March 13 voted unanimously to sign an agreement with AT&T for the telecommunications company to provide consumers with Internet Protocol Television, or IPTV.
Rogers is now the ninth city in Arkansas to let the company provide its television service in its cities, further blurring the lines between traditional cable television operators and telephone companies.
Other Arkansas cities that have adopted the service are Fayetteville, Springdale, Fort Smith, Maumelle, Little Rock, North Little Rock, Sherwood and Benton.
