Mitchell Massey has projects going on all over Northwest Arkansas, but two in particular in Fayetteville caught our eye.
Massey, through his Wyngate LLC entity, recently obtained a $4.22 million loan from First Federal Bank of Arkansas to construct 40 townhomes behind the Harp’s Food Store on Wedington Drive.
Partners in the project are Massey Holdings of Fayetteville and John Brittenum.
The townhomes will be about 1,200 SF each and will be priced in the $129,000 range.
“We’ve just submitted the permit,” Massey said. “We will be able to break ground sometime in December and it should be ready by late spring.”
Massey, though his Cato Springs LLC entity, also recently obtained a $1 million loan from First State Bank in Fayetteville to refinance property he has owned for about two years in south Fayetteville.
Massey said plans for the 38-acre parcel, which is about a quarter of a mile from the Interstate 540 and Cato Springs Road interchange near the proposed Southpass Development, is in the preliminary stages.
His partner on that project is Rick Hancock.
