In the July 10 edition of the Tulsa Business Journal, Tara Hughes, co-owner of In the Raw Sushi restaurants in Tulsa, mentioned a possible franchise move into the Rogers area.
There are two current In the Raw restaurants located in Tulsa, with others being considered in Norman and Edmond, Okla., along with sunny Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Hughes and her husband Greg are also partners in Los Angeles restaurant Ford’s Filling Station with Ben Ford, son of actor Harrison Ford.
The trio opened a Ford’s restaurant in Tulsa in 2005 but closed it the same year due to lack of sales, according to the article.
The Hugheses also own Brookside Club Suede in Tulsa.
