Independent Movie to be Shot in Area

Another movie is about to be filmed in Northwest Arkansas. “War Eagle” is supposed to be a coming-of-age buddy film that involves baseball themes and a boy named “Wheels,” who is wheelchair bound.
The executive producer for the film is Vince Insalaco, a Little Rock resident who managed Democratic candidate Jimmie Lou Fisher’s 2002 gubernatorial campaign.
The film crew for “War Eagle” will be based out of Eureka Springs. We hear shooting will begin sometime in August, set for exotic locations such as Huntsville, Berryville and west Eureka Springs.
We hear the director, producer, photographer, production designer and even a couple of actors are already buzzing around Eureka Springs scouting locations.
The production office is keeping celebrity names hush-hush, but we understand TV and movie actor Brian Dennehy will be in the movie.
