Radio Duo Light Up the Laughter (Outtakes Opinion)
Sometimes we think it’s O.K. to turn on a little junior high humor and snicker — as long as you’re in the car and no one knows about it.
That’s what you get with Jon and Deek, the morning radio hosts on “The Eagle,” KIGL-FM, 93.3. (Jon is Jon Williams, and Deek will only reveal his single moniker, similar to ’70s pop stars Cher and Twiggy.)
Since the two teamed up back in October, they’ve recorded several songs about Razorback sports, bar hopping on Fayetteville’s Dickson Street and even the Jim Bob Duggar family.
The locker room pair had posted the music on their Web site, JonAndDeek.com. But for some reason when the site was “completed,” the songs disappeared. The site promises to have the sounds section back up and running soon, so if you’ve missed the tunes, you might give it a try.
The songs are well written and horribly sung over popular rock music, and worth a listen when the DJs get them posted again.
