Fayetteville’s NBC affiliate, KNWA, announced in mid-March that it had hired Scott Pickey to be the station’s news director.

Pickey previously served as assistant news director for WHNT, the CBS affiliate in Huntsville, Ala., which is owned by The New York Times Co.

Pickey’s first day of work was March 6. He replaced Alan Little, who went to work for Bay News 9 in Tampa, which is owned by Bright House Networks.
