Hotel Slated for Airport Region

We hear a local hotel operator has plans for several hotels near the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport.
Jagtar “J.D.” Dhaliwal, who also owns the Super 8 in Rogers, Best Western in Springdale and Holiday Inn Express in Siloam Springs, has a contract to buy about 50 acres right across Arkansas Highway 12 from the entrance to the Polo Park subdivision.
Dhaliwal also has franchise rights to build another Hampton Inn in the area at an undisclosed location.
Speaking of franchises, we’re not sure what brand we’ll be getting, but plans call for two hotels, two restaurants, a gas station and some “high density” residential. The development company is called XLNC LLC.
Craig Anderson, principal broker for Lazenby Real Estate, will be leasing and selling the property once the sale closes.
Jack McHaney, principal in Harris McHaney Realtors, and other investors own the property right now.
