Patti Metcalf-Kimbrough has a job most Razorbacks fans would die for. As director of guest services for mens athletics at the University of Arkansas, she sees a lot of games, but her job is really about making the experience better for the fans.

Metcalf-Kimbrough started in retail management for The Limited in her hometown of Fort Smith after earning a bachelors degree in business from Oklahoma State University in 1991. After five years in retail management, she left in 1997 to work for Beverly Enterprises in Fort Smith as a public relations specialist.

In 2001, she became regional director for the Oklahoma/Arkansas Alzheimers Association. That is where she met her future boss, Frank Broyles.

When Broyles wife, Barbara, was diagnosed with Alzheimers disease, Metcalf-Kimbrough worked closely with the family, and a friendship formed. In 2005, Coach Broyles recruited Metcalf-Kimbrough as director of guest services for Razorbacks mens athletics.

She is still active in the Alzheimers Association, most recently chairing Washington Regionals Savor the Flavor, a nonprofit organization to help senior citizens stay homebound. She and Broyles raised $48,000, almost twice the amount raised last year.
